    Getting to Highbourne Cay

    • Highbourne is a secluded island with direct access only by boat, seaplane or helicopter. However, we are only 8 miles from the closest air-strip at Norman’s Cay.

    • From Nassau you can charter a seaplane directly to Highbourne Cay or a fixed wing plane to the neighbouring island of Norman’s Cay where there is a runway. It’s an effortless 20 minute flight. Once at Norman’s Cay, you will be greeted by a member of Highbourne’s team who will take you directly to Highbourne via a 15 minute scenic boat ride

    • You can choose to travel to Highbourne from the US through Nassau, it’s an easy 45 minute flight from Miami. Flights depart from the US directly to Nassau from most of the major cities along the East coast. Direct flights are available from Washington D.C, Newark, New York City, Atlanta, Miami, and Charlotte. Once in Nassau, you will just need to schedule a flight from Nassau to Norman’s Cay, or choose to fly direct via seaplane.

      You can also choose to schedule a direct flight from Miami/Fort Lauderdale to Norman’s Cay, where there is a Bahamian Customs and Immigration team to clear you.

    • Highbourne sits at 24˚7257”N, 76˚8188”W, only 40 miles away from Nassau, which makes the boat trip effortless. If you’re traveling from the US, you’ll just need to clear customs in either Bimini, Chub Cay, Nassau or Norman’s Cay before your arrival at Highbourne.

    A favoured outpost among seasoned yachtsmen, Highbourne’s impeccable marina is located within a naturally sheltered harbour.

    An ideal dock for those journeying through or around the Exumas, it features 750ft of face dock for yachts up to 180ft (8’ draft) and 16 back-in slips for boats of up to 75ft. Reservations ahead of arrival are strongly recommended.

    More than simply a place to drop anchor, moor and refuel, the marina offers a series of welcome amenities including a well-stocked store, as well as showers and laundry for the comfort of overnighting sailing guests.
